Bouldin Creek Community
Bouldin Creek borders South Congress to the east and South First to the west. Downtown Austin, the center of government and business for the region can be reached in minutes.
The neighborhood is rich with history including the Green Pastures restaurant, St Anne African Methodist Episcopal Church and Holy Name of Mary Orthodox Church. In the South First area, there are Mexican bakeries, tattoo shops and art galleries, and shops that reflect the diversity of the neighborhood and strong support for local business.
Texas School for the Deaf is another integral part of the neighborhood and the enormous campus occupies the entire area bounded by South Congress.
