Milwood
Milwood is located in North Austin, and is close several major highways; RM 620, MoPac (Loop 1), IH35 and the new Toll roads. The neighborhood has large trees, open green spaces and is convenient to downtown Austin, shopping and entrainment. Construction in the area began in the 1980’s and is one of Austin fastest selling neighborhoods, partially due the affordability and great area. The homes have many features that are not typically found in a modest price range.
Balcones Park and Pool is perfect for a summer swim, family picnic or a game of Frisbee. Milwood Branch Austin Public Library offers internet access, is a busy neighborhood meeting place or you can check out great books for all ages. There is easy access to shopping at the Domain, from fine dining, to quaint restaurants, retail shopping and movie theaters is but a short drive away.
