The Zilker Community
This neighborhood is located in South Central Austin and extends South of Lady Bird Lake. It is bounded by Lamar Blvd on the South, and Barton Springs Road on the North.
Area Attractions
The area is home to many Austin landmarks Umlauf Sculpture Gardens, Flipnotics Coffee Shop, Chuy’s Tex-Mex restaurant, and the famous Barton Springs Pool and Zilker Botanical Gardens. This is a very beautiful area and often called the Heart of Austin; Zilker Park with Barton Springs Pool, Soccer Fields and green spaces help make this a very special part of Austin.
The homes in this area are well-established with large trees and walking spaces. There are miles of hiking and biking trails on the greenbelt and along Lady Bird Lake. The area attracts outdoor types, families and professionals.
